Ulster County is a destination for lovers this time of year. What could be better on a cold winter’s day than to spend some quality time with your love, enjoying a delicious meal and some sweet treats to go along with it? There’s lots of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day here in Ulster County with your love, so much so, that for the ambitious, it may be hard to fit your whole desired Hudson Valley itinerary into one single, love-filled day. For almost 5 years now there has been a buzz surrounding the Kingston area, touting it as a ‘new Brooklyn’; a hip new place to escape the bustling city and explore your passions and creativity. We’ve followed that buzz for a while and have seen the changes in and around  Kingston over the last few years, from the assortment of new and thriving businesses and restaurants that have come to town to the burgeoning ‘artist’s corridor’, livening up the once neglected Mid-town section of the city.

If you’re not headed out of town or to the beach this Labor Day weekend, there’s still plenty to do right here to enjoy one final blast of summer and have…
