Each venue will showcase local bands and food vendors. There is no fee for admission but parking can be tricky so plan accordingly. If you’re looking for fireworks on July 4th, look no further!
The New Paltz fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at the Ulster County Fairgrounds, located at 249 Libertyville Road. Gates open at 5pm and fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:45 pm. Local bands, Impulse, The Big Joe Fitz Band, and The Holmes Brothers will be providing the entertainment. Food vendors include Caribbean Cuisine and Elia’s Texas Connection. No Alcohol, smoking, or pets please!
The Village of Saugerties fireworks are held on Monday, July 4th at Cantine Field right next to Saugerties High School. Prior to the fireworks will be a Battle of the Bands and various food vendors. Fireworks are scheduled to start at dusk which as of today is between 8:30 and 9:00 pm.
The Ellenville fireworks are also held on Monday, July 4th at Joseph Y. Resnick Airport. They are scheduled to go off at dusk which as of today is between 8:30 and 9:00 pm. The fireworks are preceded by Ellenville’s biggest public event, its July 4th celebration. Open from 12 noon – 2pm in Liberty Square on Main Street Ellenville, it’s an old-fashioned good time with a parade, entertainment, and food.Forecasts so far say the weather will be great, so start making plans!
